Finally!

I finally found some pictures from the GEB Walkathon last month. Hopefully some more will trickle in soon.

My Week

Sorry it's been a while since my last update. Irie and I have been playing like crazy and there is just no time to post. Hopefully I'll make it up to you with all of these pictures!

On Wednesday it snowed hard for the first time. Unfortunately it didn't stick, but it sure was fun while it lasted!


On Thursday, Irie and I went to the park. This was my first time, but Irie went there before, a lot. We went for a nice long loop around the park and got really tired. Mom was happy because apparently she doesn't like it when Irie and I scoot through the apartment...She's no fun!





On Friday Mom took me out to play on the long leash. Now I know what fun we have out there, so I got so excited when I saw the leash. I pretty much scooted the entire time and then I discovered the pine cones. They make the best toys and Mom said I was so cute she had to video me.






On Saturday, Mom went to the pet store. Why, you may ask? Well we discovered (very much the hard way) that my tummy does not tolerate duck. So she brought me home some new food and now I feel so much better! Mom is happy too, since clean up was not fun for her. When she came back she decided I could use a bath, so into the tub I went. This was my first bath with Mom because I've been such a clean puppy, so of course they took pictures!





Tonight we had puppy class. This week was different because I had to be evaluated. Mom told me to be on my best behavior so GEB could see what a great little girl I am. I didn't do too bad, if I do say so myself! First we did some obedience, then walked on some underfootings, and then worked on the stairs. Afterwards we worked on body handling. I was pretty good on my obedience. During my stay someone walked into the room behind me, so I got up but otherwise I did everything well. I did all the underfootings just fine, but then they set off this cow stuffed animal. I was not sure about that, but Mom gave me some treats next to it so we became fast friends. On the stairs we saw that I rush a little going up, so Mom will have to show me how to walk next to her. Overall, the evaluator said I am a good pup that is a little soft and oh so pretty!

After class we went to join Irie in the doggie play room. I had such a blast playing with the big dogs, but I quickly got tired and decided to go home. I guess that is it for tonight...I am awfully tired. Tomorrow we go home for Thanksgiving break. I can't wait to play in the backyard and go for lots of walks. It's going to be great!

My Weekend and Playtime

Mom and I left Friday to go visit Grandma and Grandpa's house. I was so good on the ride home! I just slept or chewed on my bone. I'm finally learning! We arrived just in time for dinner and then it was play, play, play for the rest of the night! I love being there with Indiana and Irie, they are so much fun.
On Saturday we went for a nice long walk. I kept up just fine with the big dogs! When we got back we all got our stuffed Kongs and I had some crate time. I was pretty tired so by the time my Kong was finished, I was ready for a long nap.
On Sunday I had some much needed crate time while the big dogs went for a walk. After playing so much I was happy for a break. Then we left to go back home. Irie came with us for a few days. It's nice to have a playmate here!

Tonight Mom told me we had puppy class. When we got there, I didn't see any of my puppy class friends. This was a different class, a play class! I made friends with Taylor, the shihtzu, and Trixie, the chihuahua. We played for a good hour and then they all left. Mom and I stayed to watch the big dog class come in. There were Newfoundlands, poodles, labs, and a mix; I have never seen so many different dogs at puppy class! Hopefully next time Mom will remember her camera so you can see how cute we are together!

Mom cleaned out the camera and found some older pictures from last week. They are too cute not to share!

And the last one was from a few nights ago. Mom was doing homework and I was entertaining myself. Well, I got stuck under the bed and started carrying on like I was dying. Mom grabbed a cookie and suddenly I wasn't stuck anymore! Mom always knows what to do!


Yesterday I had a great day! Not only did Mom's morning class get canceled (which means no crate time for me!), but then Paula showed up to take me for a playdate! I spent 5 hours at her house playing with Destiny. It was such a blast. When I got home I said goodbye to Paula and her girls and then went straight to bed. Mom had to wake me up for dinner! I hope I get to go back there really soon!

Anybody have big plans for this weekend? I'm going to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see Irie and Indiana. Grandpa hasn't seen me since I was 8 weeks old, so I'm sure he's going to be happy! I just can't wait to play outside all weekend with Indiana and Irie!

My Commands

Mom and I figured you want to see all these commands we keep talking about, so we made a movie. These are just the commands I know, so in a few months we'll make another with all of the commands. Mom did leave out one command, but no one wants to see me get busy!

Month Day Celebration and Puppy Class

As you all know I turned 3 months on Sunday. Mom had quite the surprise in store for me-and her name is Yara! She is a real live guide dog and since Mom and Yara's mom are friends, we arranged for a playdate. I have to state, for the record, I LOVE beating up shepherds! And the bigger they are, the better!


That is pretty much how we spent the entire afternoon. Then, the moms got food and Yara had to lay on her bed while I was on leash with Mom. That was a bummer, but then we were released and the fun started all over again! I can't wait to go back!

Last night we had puppy class. We were in a different room this week and there were a bit less in the group. It was just Vinny, Tracer, and Theo. My favorite person, Barb, taught the class. She called me the little princess of the group :) We worked on people greetings, which I am slowly improving on. Then on our new commands: close, get dressed, and over. When we practiced get dressed they realized they didn't have enough collars, so they handed Mom a license plate frame. She wasn't too sure about that but guess what? I was brilliant and did a perfect get dressed! Soon after that we were finished and Mom found out that we have a special evaluation next puppy class. She said we have to work hard the next 2 weeks, but I know we are going to do great!

Three Months Old!

Today I celebrate my three month birthday. I can't believe I am that old already, can you?
