I just got back from my vacation and boy did I have a great time! On Friday morning (right after Christmas) Mom dropped me off at the sitter's house. I was too busy exploring to notice Mom leaving and Kathy kept me too busy to even miss her. I visited her family, went on walks with some of my dog pals, and socialized at different places. When Mom called to check on me she said there was only one problem with me...she didn't want to give me back! I think that is a pretty good compliment! Kathy dropped me off at home today and I was so happy to see Indiana and Irie again...oh and Mom too. We went out socializing and to a favorite restaurant for us puppies. I was such a good little girl and slept through the whole meal. We also went for a walk on a very busy street and I was so comfortable, much better since my last evaluation.

Wow, I need an update!
I guess I was just so busy I forgot about my blog! Now that Mom is finished with school, we will have much more time to go on adventures and blog about them. Let's start with 2 weekends ago. Mom and I were just hanging out in the apartment when Mom's phone rang. She put on her jacket and left. I didn't know why she was leaving me or why I didn't get my Kong in my kennel, like when she normally leaves, but then I understood. Mom brought in not one, but TWO of my favorite playmates-Shepherds! I was so excited that Indiana and Jeanette were visiting me, thanks Mom! We played for an hour and half and then everyone loaded into the car. We went home to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the weekend.
The shepherds got to go to "the city" while I stayed home. I did get to play with Indiana and Irie, go for walks, and visit my sitter. Mom said next time, I will go with her to the city. I have a feeling I will stick out though since this is who I would go with:
After that, we went back to the apartment for a few days. On Wednesday, I had to stay in my crate for a really long time. Luckily Mom made me a Kong and a bone with treats, so I kept busy. When she got home we packed up the car and went back to Grandma and Grandpa's. On Thursday, I was going to stay home while Mom went out, but Andrea called and said to bring me along. So off I went to the eye doctor with Mom and then to Andrea's house. I found out Mom was supposed to be going to Royce's going away party, but since it was going to snow he went in early and couldn't come to his own party! We couldn't have a dog party without a dog, so I took Royce's place. I was so good at the doctor and the party, everyone commented at how cute and well-behaved I am.

On Friday it snowed, a lot! Mom was right, I LOVE the snow! Hattie and Edna came to play on Saturday, so it was a weekend full of friends, treats, and snow-what more can a girl ask for!

Random Cuteness
Mom's cleaning out the camera again, so here are a few good ones...
Here I am with my Christmas presents.
Here I am in my big girl kennel. It's really big now, but I'll grow into it.
Here I am in the box that my octopus came in.
I lost my teeth!
Here I am sleeping with my tongue out. I'm so silly!
Under the bed with my tennis ball.
Being adorable in my bed.
Don't I look smart?
My latest nap spot. Roomie calls it my Fortress of Solitude, I say it is closest to the door so I know when Mom comes home first!

Secret Santa!
My Secret Santa package came tonight. Well, technically it is Irie and my Secret Santa, but she's not here, so for now it is all mine ;) I got so much stuff, including a big girl collar! I cannot wait until I fit into it!

Booooorrrrrring!
This past week has been pretty boring, if you ask me! Mom has been studying like crazy and pretty much ignoring me...She told me it will all be over soon, so I guess I'll just have to be patient with her.
On Monday we had puppy play time at puppy class again. This time, everyone remembered their camera so there were lots of pictures taken. I spent my time either chewing on my favorite bone or playing with my favorite pal, Taylor. Cricket, the dachshund, kept stealing my favorite bone but she is not one to mess with, so I let her have it. There were 5 dogs total, including me, so it was so much fun!
On Wednesday Mom and I went to Cyndy and Yara's house. Yara and I played like crazy while the moms chatted a little. Then we went to see some Lions! I was so scared...Lions are really big and scary, right? Well these were not those kind of Lions. These are the great Lions who give money to causes that help the blind and visually impaired. They were really nice and I behaved myself for a long sit down dinner. Yara appeared to be the star at this show, but some people noticed how cute I am. If nothing else I got to play with my fave shepherd for the night. Life doesn't get better than that!
This weekend we stayed at home. Sunday we got our first "real" snow, although it was gone by the afternoon. Mom made sure to take me out to play before it was all gone though. It sure is a lot of fun to sniff in and scoot through. Mom told me we will get way more than that in the next few months. I can't wait!

Thanksgiving Break
I had such a wonderful Thanksgiving, I hope you did as well! On Tuesday, Mom came back from class and loaded Irie, me, and all of our luggage into the car and we hit the road. It was really rainy, but we didn't seem to notice. I slept in my crate the whole ride home...that darn Irie got the front seat with Mom! By the time we got home, the rain stopped so we went out back to play with Indiana a bit. I don't know what he does when I'm not home to play with him. I hope Irie bites his face like I do, he really likes that!
On Wednesday, Mom, me, and Aunt Wendy ran some errands. I was a little angel, as usual :) We met this guy who was in a wheelchair so Mom let me say hi. She even let me put my paws in his lap, which I usually get in trouble for. He was really nice and kept telling me how cute I am-as if I didn't know that!
On Thursday was the big day-Turkey Day! Unfortunately us pups didn't get any turkey. Mom did get us a special dessert to have while everyone else had their pie, but I would have loved some turkey! After dinner we all took a long walk. I was such a good little girl and I felt like such a big girl keeping up with Indiana and Irie.
On Friday we slept in a little and then just hung out all day. Mom packed up all these yummy treats and cool toys to mail to our Secret Santa. Toby and Earl are lucky boys...I can't wait for our package!
Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Wendy went out all night so it was just us pups and the boys. They did an alright job with dinner and then we all went to bed. The girls came home in the middle of the night so we got a night walk and then back to bed.
On Saturday we got up early to meet Mrs. H. She's going to watch me over Christmas so Mom wanted us to say hi before then. She was really cool AND she had treats. I'm sold!
After that we went for a ride in the car to the train station. We met up with my pal Royce and another pup, Kohl. We had fun walking around the platform and seeing the trains. Afterwards we went to lunch where I was a very good girl...well, I tried, at least ;)
When I got home, Hattie and Edna were there. We played all day! I really like Edna, she's a blast! They are both mommy dogs for GEB, like my mom. Hattie had a bunch of puppies so she's retired now, but Edna is still young so she still has many guide dogs left in her!
Sunday was the day we headed home. It was snowy and rainy this time, but we made it fine. My roomie gave me an early Christmas present-a big stuffed fleecy toy. It is my new favorite toy, next to my Wubba of course! I love to snuggle with it, but I can't play fetch because it is too big to run with. I'm not sure what this whole Christmas thing is, but so far it is my favorite day of the year!
